Keahy, Summers--Who was John Keahy in the 1830 census of Wayne Co.?  Could this be our ancestor, John Kethley/Keathly/Keithley/Kighly?  We know he was in MS.  Later, two of his sons married daughters of Wiley L. Summers in Scott Co.  drryan@bellsouth.net    03-04

Childers, Lee2, West3, Saxon, Jones, Overstreet2--I am related to these families; some of whom lived in Wayne Co., MS.  My father Leslie B. Childers was born in Lumberton, MS.  Robert E. "Roberson" Lee and Catherine West are my g g g grandparents.  Preston or Presley Saxon is my g g g grandfather (Fronie's father). Steven Lee and Fronie Saxon are my g g grandparents. Catherine Lee and James Jones are my g grandparents. Fannie Gertrude Jones and Charlie N. Guthrie, West2, Ready--I am searching for information on my grandmother, Nancy Ellen Guthrie who married Ed West.  I have learned that her Daddy's name was James A. Guthrie and I know that she had a brother named Horace Guthrie.  She had several other siblings as well.  I would love to know anything that is available about her parents and siblings.  Ed and Nancy West lived out from Clara until sometime in the 50's when they moved into town due to health.  I am the daughter of Mim W. Lee, Burns, West, Overstreet--My great great great grandfather was a Samuel Jefferon Lee who married a Sarah Burns in Williamsburg, Georgetown District, South Carolina.  My great great grandfather is Roberson ( Robert E.) Lee who married Catherine West.  Both of them are buried at the Old Lee Cemetery off of Old River Road in Waynesboro, Mississippi.  Great great grandfather Roberson now has a Civil War footmarker on his grave.  I am looking for information on my great great great grandfather Samuel, who is believed by others to have married a Martha Patsy Overstreet West, her first husband was  a John West.  They lived on what used to be the Lee Plantation on Old River Road.  I would greatly appreicate any information on this if any one knows the truth.  I have been unable to find any information of that sort where I am .  Thank you, Marylynne Lee Whitney.
