Winn, Graham, Lowrance--The Winn Family became established in Mississippi about 1844, with Martin Winn.  My great-grandfather was Francis Marion Winn, who married Victoria Madeline (Graham) Lowrance, in 1866.  They moved to Van Buren, Arkansas in 1879.  I would love to know about the Martin Winn family and my great grand parents, Francis and Victoria.  bevans@coutsfamily.com     07-04

Dobson, Davis--I am looking for any information on B. C. Dobson.  He had a plantation in Senatobia, Tate County, Mississippi.  My g grandfather was married to I believe a Jane Davis, who died leaving several children. Cordelia Dobson, Rollan Dobson, Ed Dobson, Oscar Dobson (died of Rabies), Oliver Dobson, Doc Dobson (unknown real name), Joe Dobson.   There is a census record for 1880 from Senatobia, Tate Co., Mississippi.  My grandfather Ed, who died when I was 5, told  other people that when his mother died, his father was unable to care for him and his brothers and were sent to live in an orphanage.    I have traced John Thomas Dobson to Mississippi and Tennessee, but have been unable to locate any information on B. C. Dobson or on B.C. Dobsons wife Nancy Dobson.   There are no family members alive that can provide any information, so any help would be helpful.  Julia Dobson Martin.  jadmartin@hotmail.com    04-03
