Greene, McDonald, Davenport--Dr. Lewis Jones Greene (1812-1843) was married to Lucinda Wincy McDonald (1810-1866).  If anyone has info on Lewis , I would appreciate it.  I know he was born in Scotland.  His son Lewis Jones Greene, Jr. (1843-1932) was married to Sallie Ann Eliza Davenport (1854-1934).  I have quite a bit of information on the Davenports and McDonalds, but Lewis Senior has us puzzled.  Mary Almon Pugh.  shopavon@comcast.net    ^10-02

Holloway, Blunt--My grandmother was born in Prentiss, I think, in 1912.  Her mother was Martha Holloway, who was married to a man by the name of Washington "Wash" Holloway.  Her mother's name was Lucinda. She may have used the last name of Blunt.  The father of some of her children was a dutch slave owner by the name of Blunt.   Mr. Blunt apparently operated a dry goods store, perhaps in that county.
