Dancing Rabbit Genealogical Society
Dancing Rabbit Genealogical & Historical Society of Carthage, MS announces the completion of their forthcoming book titled Leake County, Mississippi Tombstone Inscriptions. It will be a deep forest green with gold lettering,  fine-quality, hard-bound book containing over 750 pages of inscriptions, approximately 30,000 names, over 200 cemeteries, and an “every name” index. It includes every cemetery in Leake County that the society was able to locate and several that situated near the Leake County line in adjoining counties. Also included will be additional genealogical and historical information derived from obituaries and other sources.
     The cost will be $65.00 plus $5.00 shipping if the book is mailed. In order to obtain the best printing cost, a 10% discount is being offered until January 1, 2010, on the purchase of one or more books in advance of publication.
